I was born in UK but have lived more than half of my life abroad. I served as a union representative for many years, and taught for several years at a sixth form college. My life experiences have helped me to understand feelings of not belonging and the pain of dealing with relationship and workplace difficulties.

I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling from the Psychosynthesis Trust, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am a member of that professional body and abide by its code of ethics. (MBACP 407718).

* Level 2 and level 3 certificate in counselling skills from the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB) 

* Level 2 certificate in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health. 

* PGCE in Post-compulsory Education and Training

I am DBS registered and fully insured.
