Roberto Assagioli

Roberto Assagioli (1888-1974), a contemporary of Freud and Jung, is the father of Psychosynthesis, which can be described as a transpersonal and integrative way of working. Psychosynthesis recognises a calling within each of us to be what we may be.

Assagioli emphasised the importance of the harnessing the power of imagination to develop the will to initiate change. Psychosynthesis also acknowledges the inter-connectedness of our body, feelings and mind.
