Piero Ferruci
It can be really hard to choose a therapist and research has shown that best results are achieved if there is a good connection. This chat will help us both to establish if we are a good fit.
I can offer both time-limited or long-term open-ended work. Even if we later decide to work together for longer, I recommend that we initially commit to just six sessions. There is no obligation to continue with therapy at any time.
I offer a space for those sensitive souls who feel the need for change and are drawn to understand themselves on a deeper level. But I equally have a soft spot for those who feel none of those things -- you’re all welcome here. I have worked with neurodivergent clients, people whose first language is not English, and I am LGBTQ friendly.
Depending on what feels safe and most comfortable for you, we might incorporate breathing and relaxation techniques, guided meditations and body focusing. We might also work with journalling, drawing and other tools to bring a fresh perspective or deliver you new insights.
But if you just want to talk, don't worry, that is what I mainly do with all my clients. And you get to choose.
Depending on what you are bringing and how long we are working for, we'll be looking into your past, but we'll also focus on how you are feeling in the now and your hopes for the future.
I am qualified to work with anxiety and depression and have worked with adults at every stage of their life. My style of working is particularly suited to those who are feeling generally stuck and yearning for change or who are trapped in bad situations or who are struggling with grief or troubling events from their past.
